More than 3 years in the making, this exhibition at Karoo Origins: the Fossil Centre in Graaff-Reinet features animations, sculptures, illustrations and other displays. Built around the Rubidge fossil collection, which consists mainly of therapsid fossils from between 255 and 248 million years ago, the exhibition tells the story of life on Earth, the evolution of mammals, the late Permian mass extinction and how this relates to the world today.
